For the second beer in our 2021 Sustainable Collaboration Series, we’ve joined forces with Harbour Brewing Co. in Cornwall. We both have a coastal connection, but the farm is Harbour’s home. This inspired us to brew Break Point, a straw-coloured farmhouse ale, in which land and sea collide.
Keen to embrace the farmhouse process, we worked with a kveik yeast strain, used in farmhouse brewing in Norway. We’ve created big waves of tropical fruit flavour, heightened by citrus Citra hops. There’s also a caramelised undercurrent from our local malted barley, and rye from our own Chairman’s farm just up the road.
Our sustainable commitment is that Adnams will remove plastic from all future collaborative can packaging, and where possible, all new products will launch in cardboard cartons rather than in shrink-wrapped trays
